Seagate firecuda

Im trying to install my new firecuda and i have all the cable believed i need, however, the is a four pin female plug labelled APH. Ive never heard of this before and from what ive seen from googling, i dont need it. Anyone can help, thatd be appreciated.

You only need to connect SATA power and data.

Thanks, also have only ever worked with nvme before. Ive got the power plugged in properly,(into the psu, right?), but where do i plug in the data plug?

What drive are you trying to use? NVMe are literally just put on their right port at the motherboard... usually the first M.2(most on top_ port of your board.

i got it all figured out. i was saying this was the first time ive worked with sata, before it was just nvme
