Memory speed incorrect in Windows

My memory speed in my bios is 2133mhz which is correct but Windows shows it is 1064mhz what is wrong? Solutions

Windows Task Manager is often quite unreliable..

But it seems like every couple of new updates it shows a different number.

 

From what I remember, the 1066 is actually Mhz, while 2133 is actually MT/s (which is what the manufacturer advertises with). But DDR = dual data rate. It can do 2 transfers per operation, which makes the effective MHz double the actual Mhz.

Many programs proper PC monitoring/specification checking programs like CPU-Z will still show the Mhz (which is half of the MT/s, which is what the manufacturer advertises with):

Even CPU - z reports it's 1067Mhz. My laptop doesn't do it nor does any other pc I own done it before
