CAD and Gaming graphics card

Hi

I am new to graphics cards and everything that goes into choosing one.  I am building a personal PC with the Ryzen 5 3600X.  the main use will be some gaming, CAD modeling and maybe light video editing.  I have decided to go with an NVDIA GPU but i dont know which to pick.  i would prefer to only spend 300-450$ on the graphics card but i realize that may not happen.

I think there is an evga 2070 super for 470 with rebate

Is there a good time to buy that will be coming up? i know i missed black friday deals and would other graphics cards be good too?
