Hello!

I was wondering what's the best RGB RAM (aesthetically speaking) out there? I know corsair is popular, but what about hyperx for example? Or g skill?

I know it might be a bit of a personal preference, but I'd love to hear what people think is the best looking RGB RAM!

Thanks.

Corsair isn't snycable cause it uses its own OS (iCue) as well as HyperX but it is partially syncable. I would say the best ram if you are looking for syncing it with other components the best option is G.Skill Trident Z or the non-syncable Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro if you don't mind using special software instead of your MB RGB OS.

With syncable do you mean syncing it with other components of the same manufacturer? Or that you cannot change the lightning?

It means not bottlenecking other components. We all know without RGB, your entire system would be bottleneck at the circuit level because your ram won't sync properly with the frequency of your cpu or motherboard. You made the right choice to go RGB. Make your case full of RGB as well because it may have the potential to disrupt your cpu frequency if the case isn't all flashy too.

Software compatibility. Most RAM is compatible with most RGB software, seen some peeps have trouble with specifically Corsair's Vengeance RGB Pro only working with iCUE (Corsair's software) and not Aura (ASUS' software). My Vengeance RGB non-pro was fine with AURA though.

Subjective but i have softspot for any of the G.skill Trident kits, many of them are in Samsung B-Die variety as well so if you find one for good price it could be win-win.  All the Corsairs look bloated to me, fat and unhealthy looking, and HyperX just looks plain.

If this is true its worth noting iCue is massive bloatware thats bad enough it has noticeable effect game performance, so really a turn off if you can't get it setup with most mobo's software or in bios.

ASUS Aura Sync should be able to control all of our RGB RAM Kits.  We actually posted a blog on our website on how to install the plug in for it:

@spree - If you have questions about any of the kits we offer, let me know, and I can help you out.  Style and best looking are very subjective to preference, but we have a few options depending on what you are looking for.
