Will a 3600 POST on a non updated BIOS?

Prömetheus
Go to solution Solved by Prömetheus,

Found this video, the fan will in fact spin with the CPU installed but it will not POST, guess the seller didn't update the BIOS when I asked them to. Marked as solved :)

@Prömetheus You need a 2nd gen ryzen chip to update, contact the store where you bought it or find a PC repair shop.

Bought an A320 mobo, ask the seller to update the BIOS. Plug all the necessary stuff (cpu, vga, and ram), monitor says no signal. Any chance the seller lied that they have updated the BIOS? or will it not even POST without the updated BIOS? Need help :))

mobo: asrock a320 hdv r4.0

cpu: ryzen 3600

A320 chipset is not supported officially by AMD for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. So no, technically it will not work.
