My desk is a big L too. I have it in a corner because I don't have enough room to do it like the picture above. (I'd like it that way though.)

well i myself wouldn't care nor bother to do it but i do see the logic behind it, and why it would provide some sense of false safety, but moreso i prefer my cords being hidden behind the desk crammed beetwen the wall and the desk.

That is my desk setup, it's bloody huge. BUT MY DESK AND THE LIGHT PC ON IT WAS STOLEN BY MY BROTHER.

 

I'll steal it back soon and put a better PC on it muahahaha.

yes it is... However it's for a linux server in-which the username isn't root as it's been removed. And my ninja deleted that virtual server. so have fun with it.

Mine is in a corner, but for some reason I keep a hatchet under the desk.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
