[Image] What is this huge metallic thing on my mobo?

I'm asking that because I opened the mobo box etc, and when I was putting it back inside its anti static bag, I wasn't careful and the end of the bag slipped inside one of the holes on that thing. I was just wondering if it was dangerous or not, since I'm really nervous about my first build

It's a headsink for the board's VRM. It's not dangerous.
