Can i flash my 5700 to 5700xt bios?

I have an a4 itx without watercooling and a RX 5700. It seems that it can get extra performence with 5700 xt bios.

 

Since i have a 2k 144hz monitor that just dont satisfy so i think of doing this.

Idk if it would be too much for my mini itx. Have someone tried it? 

Kinda afraid, didnt even think of overclocking it before. 

 

Cpu: Ryzen 3600

Motherboard: Asus b450i

Air cooling: C7

SSD: rc500

you could just overclock it normally with msi afterburner, without worrying about the bios.

Thx, I thought flashing the bios would be safer. Noob at hardwares.?

from what I understand, flashing the bios removes some of the power limits on the 5700, making them the same as on the 5700xt. since you have an itx build, it's safer to stay with the stock bios and overclock with msi afterburner. there are many guides online

I would not suggest anyone to flash their GPU unless they got a spare GPU and/or also have eeprom programmer to flash vbios in case of a failure.

Thats very helpful. Maybe i'll try overclocking first someday, and then go ahead to this flashing if temperature good.
