My Xbox One controller has been serving well.

SCUF makes controllers for multiple systems, including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

These will work with a PC, under certain circumstances. Some require specific adapter to use them wirelessly, some require certain programs to run correctly.

How did you connect the controller? Do you have bluetooth on your system?

I got the (older bulkier) Microsoft wireless adapter, because there was a good deal on the controller + adapter. On my laptop I have used the Bluetooth before and it worked good as well.

Looking for a controlled for some games on the pc. Anyone have any recommendations?

Xbox One controller. Connect it with one of these for $1.00 from The Dollar Tree. Also charges whatever it fits. Lasts forever.

Depending on support with whatever games you're wanting to use... I actually like PS4 controllers. They work with USB or Bluetooth.

Also, Xbox One seem to have the best support out of the box - I have a first gen Xbox One Elite which is great. Also using a Razer Raiju Ultimate (aftermarket PS4 controller) but these are super expensive.
