Low Net Speed Via USB

Hi, Linus Tech Tips communinty!

So my friend have this problem with internet speed! He is using phone 4G+ internet via USB 2.0, but He have 600 kb/s, but I have 8 Mb/s, He told me that he have this issue after appeared that Hi need to activate Windows, but still the same after i activated, maybe there is some solution?!

Check your Internet connection. Also contact to your service provider.

I know providers here in the US treat phone data differntly than Hotspot and Teathered data. Generally hotspot and teathering is limited to very little bandwidth. It could be that the provider is throttling the connection.
