Looking for software suggestions

Hello all,

 

I am currently on the look for, possibly for myself as well, but mainly for a friend, for a piece of software that allows me to either block or only allow certain websites and content. Basically a parental control software. I would agree that a great solution would be to get a router with parental control options, however, given that the device is a laptop, and therefore will be used outside the house, this is not the best idea. It would be great if this software could be password protected as well, to prevent his kids messing around and re-enabling blocked websites.

Does your router have a whitelist?

 

Ideally have two Wi-fi in the house, guest whitelist only and a second open one only for those who need it.

 

You can give anyone the guest as they can only go to the sites you allow. If your clever with the list they will never know!
