Games installed on M.2 ssds

 I hear about m.2 ssds overheating, if im planning to install my most used games on my m.2 will it overheat, and cause problems?

Give them proper airflow and in case of Samsungs, don't peel off the sticker and you'll be fine.

They sell heat sinks, but depending on the space in your case it maybe not an option... 

I don't think it's in mine,  and yes it's a major concern for me too as a m.2 would be sitting pretty much underneath my GPU.

 

On the other hand I have the possibility to install an intake fan right there also so that would probably mitigate the effects (hopefully) 

 

Current GPU max temp is 54C and I'd really like to keep it like that

my m.2 slot is right above the gpu, also i thought the m.2 heat sinks are the same size as the ssd itself

Yeah they are but higher obviously - I don't believe there's enough space between the m2 and my GPU - but I'd have to check where it'd actually go tbh 

 

I just know it'll be tight lol.

oh ur m.2 slot is literally right behind the gpu, gotcha. epic cable mgmt btw my rig  looks like shit was yeeted in there lol
