Choosing a gaming PC

I need help buying a gaming PC.  Can you recommend one PLEEEAAASE.  I’m buying for my son as a surprise so I can’t ask him any details.  I’m trying to stay around 2500.  I have no idea how to build.  I’m looking for the best out of box I can find around that price.  Thank you

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I mean, you're just shoveling money into the furnace.  Pre-built machines are a HUGE ripoff in 2019 and its never been easier to build.  Hell, you are on LinusTechTips, he's made like a million videos on how to do it.  

$2600 dollars could get you literally the best gaming experience possible with a monitor if you'd be willing to spend 30 minutes plugging wires into sockets:
