I think my pc is under preforming and i need advice

did you build the machine to only run benchmark software?

I'm relatively new to computers and was bored and decided to run a benchmark on Novabench. I turns out that my cpu is preforming blow average and i have an overall score of 2725. I'm scared it's bottlenecking or i haven't installed the correct drivers. Can you guys please help me understand what is happening.

My pc specs are

Intel Core i7

EVGA RTX 2080 ti Black Edition

Ballistix Sport LT 16GB

Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD

Gigabyte Z370 HD3

EVGA 750 watt BQ

I have all stock fans and thank you in advance

Never used this benchmark, but I'm downloading it and will give it a whirl (maybe try using a more common CPU benchmark?)

What did you get specifically for the CPU based score?

I will complain about high prices in Norway given the oportunity.

I got just over 1000 with my overclocked and water-cooled i7-6700K, and looking at Geekbench 5, the 8700 has the same single-core score, and roughly 30% higher in multi-core score compared to the 6700K

Given that 1338 is roughly 30% more than 1000, I'd say you're right where you should be in terms of performance.

I will complain about high prices in Norway given the oportunity.

Yeah, I'd recommend you use more "traditional" benchmarks in the future.

Examples:

3D Mark Timespy/Firestrike

Cinebench 15/20

Unigine Heaven / Valley

I will complain about high prices in Norway given the oportunity.

He means that you shouldn't only be running benchmarks in any case. You made the PC for something? Probably Gaming?

He's saying test in games and see what you're getting as well.

Under account settings and then signature. Then just add whatever text you want. Most people use their build specs and whatnot.
