Renault Concept car comes with a flying drone that follows you around

nicehat

The french automaker has come up with a innovative way of car surveillance that can also scan the road ahead. Enter Renault Kwid concept, first shown this week at the Delhi auto show, is targeted at developing nations, where sending an aerial scout out to monitor road conditions or safety could definitely come in handy.

How awesome! And here I was trying to find parking spots like a sucker. This concept brings this to mind for some reason.

I'm sure it would be programmed to land on the car when the battery gets low.

There is no way it would be able to follow you around all the time. It's probably only used while parking.

Ridiculous idea. Automation and recording should be integrated into the vehicle, negating the need for a drone to fly above it (while hitting lights, signs, bunting, powerlines etc).
