Will a 2080ti kingpin (240mm radiator) and a nzxt x72 (360mm radiator) fit in a Asus TUF GT501 case?

Please tell me you are going to run that card under Ln2 for a world record benchmark.

Sounds like the only case for that build is an 011 Dynamic

Just check the radiator support on ASUS's website.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

No I won't be LN2 overclocking I'm not a youtuber and have no experience with that sort of thing. This will be my first build, I'm confident I can build it without any problems.

It's just that those cards are very limited in quantity, and only exist to be Ln2 Overclocked...it's a moral issue.

Why not just do a custom water cooling loop with a reference 2080ti/2080 super? It's going to look nicer and probably cost the same in the end.

Can get cheap, perfectly fine RGB fans from aliexpress/ebay.

Also what resolution/refresh rate are you going to be gaming at? I just lean towards the best value things for most things.

Going for some pretty high end gear then for a first time builder.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Yes, both rads will fit no problem. The 240 would most likely go to the front and the 360 would go to the top.

As others have mentioned though, there are better cases for the money especially if you're not building an all Asus build.

£5000 already got most of it, that's including a valve index and all the periphials, desk etc. The monitor is Asus ROG SWIFT PG278QR, 27 Inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) Gaming Monitor, 1 ms, Up to 165 Hz, DP, HDMI, USB 3.0, G-SYNC. I'm thinking of ditching the response time for higher frames. I'm looking at eventually moving to 4K when either the monitor prices come down or I can afford to spend £1200 on a monitor. I can give you a list of what I'm putting into it. I want it to be reletively future proof. I'm not going to be around the pc all the time (maintenance would be an issue) I'm away a lot of the time and I'd rather not have water near electronics that cost so much especially as a first time builder. I refuse to buy a pre built pc. The latest games in the highest frames. Eventually in 4K

You should for sure just do air cooling all around then as it has no chance of failure.

But a really high end PC gaming doesn't need to cost more than like 2000 EUR

the 2080ti is more for 4k 120hz, the 2080 super will do just fine otherwise as a much lower price, has like 80-90% the same performance.

Only listed as a 10% difference on tech power up's site. Newer better things are always coming out anyways.

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-2080-super.c3439

There does exist a few 200hz 1440p ultra wide displays, but they're more expensive than even 4k 120hz displays. Don't think anyone makes 16:9 1440p panels above 165hz.

Could always go with a 1080p 240hz + 4k 60hz 40" set up as well.

I appreciate your help and advice. I will eventually upgrade the monitor when I have the money shame they don't have higher refresh rate on a 1440p, but what can you do, hopefully it all goes to plan. What is your setup like?

In this case setting a new world record would be sending a message but you said you're not into oc so it's the other way around, sorry I know my elite humor is hard to understand sometimes /s

Aaanyway, the k|ngp|n card is high end, made for overclocking, it'd be sad if you only used it to run fortnite (or whatever) sure it looks cool but it'd be like having a race car only to drive it to the supermarket on sundays.

Also I'd go for an air cooler for the CPU, or at least go for a different AIO brand, google "nzxt cooler problems" and be delighted, some will be DOA others will die in 3-4 months, it's like they put the worse pumps on their AIOs on purpose despite their... highly elevated price.

Not sure what CPU you'll be using (prolly 9900k) I have a 3800X with the Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler and it tops at 64C under load, some more, around 75C when ambient temp is high though.

Thank you for the advice on the nzxt such a shame I really like the RGB ring, I'm going for a i9 9900ks. Going for a AIO still but will do my research I assumed they'd be reputable due to the higher price, I've not done this with all of the pc. I've researched a lot before buying something that seems trivial. No I'm going to be running games in 4K at 120 fps when I can afford a high end monitor. I'm not a fortnite fan, do the be quiet fans make a difference, why didn't you go for a Noctua cooler. Thanks for explaining and your help.

I'd be lying if I told you something about fans, I've only had (and tinkered with) simple regular fans that could be controlled by lowering the voltage, my old computer was a mess of cables and switches only I could understand.

The Noctua cooler was too big to fit inside my new case because of its weird fan placement, the BeQuiet is more than enough for this CPU

Fair enough as long as it works for you that's all that matters. I hope your second one looks more organised.
