Having the same features, which is better IPS or TN or VA?

Amenadiel

What if a monitor have the same response time, same refresh rate, same 1080p resolution, same 24inch display and same motion blur reduction, Would you still pick the TN over the IPS or would you go for VA over those two?  Which one do you think would be the best or they're technically all the same now, except the colors?

Thats a very big if. But lets just say u could get a TN with poor enough pixel response and a VA and IPS with good enough pixel response to match each other in every transition.

Ignoring viewing angles since u didnt mention it.

VA all the way.

VA has better blacks, better uniformity (usually), and can have great accurate colors similar to IPS, whilst not having to deal with IPS glow.

IF your choice was between a IPS, VA, or TN with the same pixel transition speeds in all transitions, the same frequency, and the same resolution, with the same motion features like BFI. Then VA wins hands down.

But heres the thing. You would have to get a rather mediocre TN panel , and a very good VA panel, to get pixel transition speeds to match up, same with IPS.

Since no1 is going to be considering cheap TN's and expensive VA's in the same budget as possible purchase options ..its nothing more than a theoretical situation thats never going to happen.
