World War Z - Challenge mode keeps saying everyone has died when they haven't.

Okay. This is seriously annoying. I've been trying to complete the current challenge in World War Z on my Xbox One X. The three challenges are you can't get revived when you go down, you only get one life, and one person takes damage whenever a teammate gets damaged.

 

Currently, the Tokyo mission is the challenge mission. It's the one where you have to get to the boat. Every time I try it, my team and I only make it to the part where you open the garage door and then go out the other door that you have to open. It is usually this part in which the mission just ends and I get a message that everyone has died. The thing is, no one has died. I just keep getting this message. I've played with people who were actually good and moved strategically and smart. We were moving up with hardly damage and next thing I know, we fail.

 

What in the world is going on? I tried this like five or six times now! Am I missing something here?

What's the challenge? No one has died and I am still getting that message. That doesn't make any sense. I don't see anything obvious about just suddenly being told we all died when everyone is alive and well. It makes no sense.

It's a zombie game...so they're all dead.  Or undead.

 

Might be related to a bug they haven't fixed yet.  Regrettably I can't give you specific advice on this scenario as I stay away from most multiplayer games like the plague.
