Is it sanitary and safe to have them not be in the refrigerator for a long period of time? I keep them in room temperature.

You can leave it out of the fridge. It doesn't need to be refrigerated, but it's going to taste like shit if you don't drink it cold.

Why you have junks and not delicious foods in your refrigerator? If not, ask and use your neighborhood refrigerator.

mini fridges are too small, but there are smaller normal refrigerator you can buy, still very cheap

Though you're close enough to the border, why not just order it in to one of those parcel receiving places and go pick it up?

When my Walmart was selling them they had them on the shelf non-refrigerated and they were fine. I would chill them before I drink them most of the time as a personal preference but other than that I never got sick or anything.

If a food item is in a can it can be stored at room temp till you open it, that's pretty much the entire point of an air tight seal.

I tasted all favors when they were somehow on Amazon for ~$35 

 

Pretty good but not worth more than $3 per can.

Yeah, I can't imagine it's much different than that or the ones from Starbucks. They all taste about the same, especially if you get one with milk (and, of course, loads of sugar).
