Ram disk for bf4?

How the hell are you using all of your RAM for a RAMDisk?

bf4 currently measures around 30 GB in raw disk space, so yeah...

and even if you had the space, the only thing that would change were actual level loading times at the start of every round.

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

Umm, seeing how bf4 won't fit on 8gigs it not going to work especially when you have no more system ram. Installing it on an ssd would speed up load times though.

Yes, i care about load times. Oh, my sig is outdated, currently have 16gb. :-)

I've got it on an ssd, but i asked myself if it would br possible to move a few map files or somethin. :-)

Adding a ramdrive, setting up symbolic links from your games files to the ramdisk. Enjoying extra speed. Do-able.

But probably more hassle than its worth.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

caches files to the ram to then go to the ssd, basically it reduces the amount of write going directly to the SSD prolonging it's life.

do you know how to set that up?
