Converting 5.25, 3.5" bays into fans?

Harry Voyager

I've got a Corsair 800D Full tower and I've realized, I'm only using one of the 5.25" bays in the tower anday end up using none of the hot-swap 3,5" bays. I'm wondering if there's something on the market that can convert 4 5.25" bays into a 120 or 140mm fan mount. Anyone seen something like that?

Thank you

Vented bay covers and command strips

Sounds like it should work. I'll give it a shot and see how it turns out.

5.25" bays are 150mm x 41mm, so a 120mm fan should fit in 3 bays.

Theoretically a 140mm should fit in 4 bays, but in many cases that might be an issue because they have parts sticking out inside the bays to support whatever component you would normally put in there.

There are plenty of drive covers and HDD trays that allow you to put a 120mm in three bays.

Or you could make your own mounts.

In case anyone else stumbles across this in the future from Google like I did, here's exactly the requested product:

@AGTMADCAT Ah cool. I ended up just using double sided tape to weld the fan in, and it worked pretty well.

What turned out to be more troublesome was in finding something to keep curious fingers and noses out of the fan. I eventually found some mesh 5.25 bay covers from a different case that I could slide in an stack up enough that you could stick your fingers in the spinning fanblades, and didn't look to bad, so long as you didn't mess with them to much :)
