The listing allows him to select hard drive size, memory size and other things.

I guess based on the selection, you choose between HP 6200 or HP 8300.

The listing by default advertises i5 3.1 Ghz  and guess what ... i5 2400 has a default frequency of 3.1 ghz with boost up to 3.4 ghz : intel's spec page

i7 3700 (or 3.7 ghz) is just a newer , a bit more powerful processor. Most likely that system would have also used the integrated graphics from inside the processor, unless you selected an option making it more expensive.

If you have the standard case (not the slim case) you should be able to install any video card, but the power supply probably has no extra power connector - it's a 320w model psu for the standard size case, and 240w for the slim one.

So go with video cards that don't require any extra connectors... see GTX 1650 , GTX 1050/ 1050ti , worst case scenario GT 1030 or RX 550 (RX 550 would be better than GT 1030)

I've gotta say, I don't think they changed the auction...considering they've sold 150+ of them from this listing alone. I'm thinking you just misread something.

The 1650 is your best bet if you want something powerful, but you'd probably want a better CPU as well. Maybe try selling yours and picking up another one.

First off, if you bought a model that advertised an i7, open up a complaint. It’s a common scam to sell something like this and then change the listing last second.

GPU wise just get a 1050 or 1050ti. Has to be pcie power only.

Kind of doubt it, for a company with that many sold under that listing...
