A 4670k, 780, Asus sabertooth

If it's for gaming I would use an i5 and a 780 instead.

the water cooling parts are arbitrary, A D5, 355, or 35x pump, Primoflex tubing, with pump top and decent fans.

the UD5H

AX 650

256GB 840 evo

8/16GB vengeance pro ram 1600 mhz

2TB seagate barracuda

Dark Rock Pro 2

Should've specified, more I guess. Sorry im tired. I meant watercooling parts wise. Motherboard would probably be a gryphon. This is for a friend who wants help, and wants to do editing/gaming with it, hence the i7.

Ryzen 1600@3.8ghz / 16gb 2400mhzASRock B350 ITX / Gigabyte RX 470 4gb / 256gb M.2 / SG13B-Q / Corsair 450w

ok, well here's to start out, what do you think needs to be cooled? Just GPU and CPU?

if so just get the blocks that fit for your parts (totally preference, performance between blocks vary between 1-2 degrees C)

for rads, IF YOU CAN, you are going to want to get thick rads to compensate for the fact that you don't have good rad mounting in that case. Another option (I think this is better) is if you don't want to go thick is get a high FPI radiator, and put it in push pull, only issue is that you are going to have to clean the radiator more often.

I'd say get a 280 radiator at the top with these fans in push pull for the high fpi option, just do pull if you are doing thick

and a 120/140 with the same fans or something else

Just get whichever blocks fit and looks nice. That's literally all there is to it. Any X compatible part will work, the choices of blocks are mostly looks. Compressions are favored in higher budget builds, but barbs are a great choice and can look just as good if you can do your cuts and runs neatly. Neither are more secure than the other.

As for radiators you'll want at least 240x2, but 360mm will cut it if you must. Low FPI radiators are better for silence optimized low RPM usage, higher FPI and thicker rads are better with higher pressure fans for better cooling. Pick either one, or something in between. Typically 120mm by fans radiators are preferred as it gives you much more options as to mounting and fan choice. As long as you don't buy shitty aluminum rads any brand will work, just look if it has the specs you want.

You're kind of asking the equivalence of "which colored lego should I build this box out of"

Error: 410

If you guys were to build a system with a 770, and 4770k in a Fractal Arc Mini r2, what would you use as parts?

A 770, 4770k, and and Arc Mini R2. Probably some memory, a power supply, and some storage. Maybe an operating system, mouse, keyboard, and headset. But I really don't know for sure because I have no idea what the system is being used for, what the budget is, where it is being purchased, or what parts the user already has.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
