GTX 1660ti Waterblock

Is there any water lock for gtx 1660ti GPU cuz I just bought

MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1660 TI GAMING X 6G 6GB 192-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

And I have plans already setup to do a water cooling setup for my build, I’m looking for something that is rgb waterblock, and if there is any existing 1660ti waterblock can someone plz tell me the trusted source to buy from. Thx ?

I think Bykski makes some, IDK if they have one for your model though. They tend to make more wacky blocks (the bigger companies usually only make them for high end cards, since they assume those are the only ones people will bother to watercool).

Yh I was looking into the Bykski and I thought for my self hmm ? no reviews, doesn’t look like anybody buys them so I couldn’t actually tell if it’s trusty since I know it’s been a while and no other company like the ones that builds for 20xx models could build some for 16xx models. I can wait longer if necessary and look out for tech youtubers such as Linus, bitwit, jay2cents, etc for reviews from trust sources. In the mean time I’ll just water loop the cpu til then.

Pretty sure Bykski is solid, they're just not mainstream. They make other niche stuff, distro blocks for specific cases and such. Similar to how Alphacool makes all sorts of really niche rads (I think they even have single 40mm fan rads lmao) I guess.

Ooo noice, does it quote compatibility though? IDK what PCB the Gaming X uses vs the others.

Pretty normal cost for a block, they're usually $80-150 depending on the model, what PCB it uses, how big it is, yada yada. But hell yeah that's one specifically for the Gaming X, should be excellent.

For curiosity's sake, what's your spec and what kind of loop plans do you have?

Soon as my GPU come in today imma take it apart to check to see if it’s the same PCB board as shown in aliexpress here, I hope it will match up or closely to that

Well it says it's for the Gaming X 1660 Ti 6GB, and you bought a Gaming X 1660 Ti 6GB, should fit without issue. A lot of 1660 Tis seem to use the smol PCB too, my EVGA XC Ultra is a normal 2 slot twin fan card, but the PCB is still a stubby one and it just has a plastic extension on the end lol.

Also I assume you're watercooling just for fun and the looks? 1660 Tis aren't hot at all so they should be cool as ice on water. The aforementioned XC Ultra at 75% fan speed sits at a crispy 45-48C or so under 24/7 F@H load, with 2055-2085Mhz on the core (manual +100 or something IIRC, then boost fluctuates depending on load).

Noice, why a 1660 Ti though? It'll be about the same as your 1070 in games with a bit less VRAM. Does eat less power though.

Here what my trash looks like lol ?

Wouldn't call that trash lol, looks quite nice. 8700K is a killer CPU too, I had one for a little bit before I traded it for an 8600K (The guy I traded it to was trying to stream so he needed the extra threads, and I had a 2700X at the time as well so I had no need for them, did a straight trade with him), even that at 5Ghz didn't choke with up to SLI 1080s. They fuckin stomp both at stock and especially OCed.

Here's my rig:
2069388806_IMG_48643.thumb.JPG.f282262f5737f7bf265535d05c82bca3.JPG

Re-doing some lines on the loop and swapping in a 5960X for my 5820K once I have the time. I can highly, highly, highly recommend the hardware I'm running, especially the Heatkiller IV Pro CPU blocks (better built than the EK ones IMO), and EK's ZMT tubing. If you wanna go soft tubing, it's incredibly easy to work with, and you just use the cheapest stubby barbs you can find (these are EK ones I got for like a buck each) then slap zip ties on to make sure it never comes loose. Never had a leak with this combo, and one rig I built for a friend has been running for about 2 years with only one maintenance session, not a single issue in that time. Using HardwareLabs GTS rads, if you want slim ones these are some of the best. Then an EK D5 pump/res combo, solid as fuck and I've never had a single issue with it. Got this back when I had my 2700X, it's ran a loop for that an a Vega FE, then a CPU only loop when I was OCing some old CPUs, and now it sits in my main, chugging away as D5s do. Looks really clean too, I like the black/silver combo. Could work really well with an RGB setup too since it's a very muted color scheme and will work with any RGB colors you decide to set.

? Damn that always sucks. I've never tried streaming with the 1660 Ti, but it was fine with my 1080 and IIRC they have the same or a similar NVENC encoder (and the 2000 series RTX cards have an even better one). And like I've said, the 1660 Ti slaps anyways, 1080p is ez mode for it and IIRC some lads push 1440p without issue.

im going with the new corsair stuff, im always corsair fan for long time anyways.

i have never done any custom water cooling stuff other than the prebuild aio watercooling. and yes i was already going for soft tubing. i will in the future will try learn to use hard line tubes and try bending and such etc.

Custom Items:

Corsair Hydro X {XC7} CPU waterblock (i was going to get the white version but soon learned it was for 20XX cpu fitting)

Corsair Hydro X {XD5 resovoir and pump COMBO}

Pacific Temperature Sensor

Soft tubes

AS FOR rads i havent fine a decent White color rad 240mm

Ooooo nice, I haven't looked much into the Hydro X stuff but the little I've seen was good. They're a pretty solid company too, I run a K70 Lux RGB keyboard, Void Pro RGB headphones (I have the matching stand too lmao, went through an RGB phase a bit ago), and as you can see from the pic above I have an RM1000i powering my rig. Started with a CX450M that's still kicking the same as it was brand new, and there's a CX550 powering my folding rig. I have one of their mice too, but I like the feel of my G502 more so I use that.

Hmmmmmmmm... Hardware Labs does have some white ones, as does XPSC, IIRC they're solid too: https://www.performance-pcs.com/radiators/shopby/color--white/radiator-size--240-2-x-120mm/
