AMD 3950x processor

Last I heard this was due to be released in November I'm trying to look up the release date not been able to find anything? I guess I'm looking in all the wrong places

does anybody know when this is supposed to release and if the price has changed?

 

I was going to upgrade to the 3900 x but then I heard this was coming out so I'm waiting on it?

I suggest you wait till TR4 so that the hype from the 3900x will be gone and the prices will be lower

Yea but I'm waiting on the 3950x once I found out it was coming out I decided I Don't want 3900x

Trying to figure out when the 3950x is supposed to be released they already held it back once just looking for update

The R9 3950X is supposed to be out on late November right? But it is likely going to be in shortage for months since yields aren't the best and the demand is going to be insane for it.

As other alreaady told. 3950X whas delayed to some time in november. There has up on til now not been any more close date for a release for 3950X from AMD.

 

There has leaked some release date out for threadripper. That can maybe give a hint about when 3950X will release as well. But no 100 % garanti for that.

Isn't the beginning of November when we were expecting AMD's next micro code update to be released too? I'd probably wait and see until then.
