If anyone has information, they probably aren't allowed to share it. :) However, they did say Q1 of 2014.

When is Q1? Is it January, February and March?

For different companies, it's different months, but generally Q1 is January-March.

I mention that because, for my company, it's Dec-February. This is due to when we do billing (i.e. we make people pay us for our services).

Thanks, so that means Maxwell will definitely come out before the 1st of April? Do you reckon Haswell prices will drop as well? Should I wait to buy a 4770k?

It may or may not come out before the 1st of April. Haswell prices (I have no idea why they would drop) And you don't need a 4770k for gaming.

I just bought a 770 >.< .... I wonder how much of a performance gain they will have.

I'm in the same boat. My only comfort is that I'll most likely have to wait for the 870 to be released, which probably won't be until much later in the year, according to what I've read, before I need to start considering moving to the 800 series.

I will be building an entirely new system this summer, so I may just fork up the extra money for an 880, but then I will be shooting myself in the foot when the 880Ti comes out. (That is if one is coming)
