You're probably doing good just to get that out of that chip...

that is probably you are hitting pcie power limit after that point since the card has no external power feed

Since the temps aren't that high, you could raise the core voltage. It may not be possible on you card, but check in the Afterburner settings.

just make sure the Core temp does not go above 90C.

See if it's possible to get the core voltage higher. If it's locked, that's probably the best you can do. (Maybe try pushing the VRAM higher?)

Then you're probably capped, and might be hitting the PCI-E slot power limit. And that might be the best OC you can get out of that chip.

Yeah, this is the best you can do without raising voltages.

Time for a new build I think. Any new graphics card you buy GTX X50 and up will only be bottlenecked by that CPU.

Before I had my rig i was using a athlon 64 X2 6200+ and a 6700GT (I think). Honestly, you have a pretty decent rig compared to some. about 2-3 years ago I had to use a AMD Athlon (Original) with 512 MB of RAM and onboard graphics. This was before I was a teckie though. Find some game that you can play, there should be some.  Keep your mind away from how bad it is until you can upgrade. And when you can, buy a new GPU, then a new CPU,and so on.

Just because one Nvidia card is "bad" doesn't mean you should hate them. Should I hate AMD because of the crap DELL I had as a child? I have a New AMD processor and its great. That nvidia card i had had 4 blown capacitors and i didn't have PCIe power cables on my power supply. I loved that computer to death though because it was such an upgrade from no GPU at all. Don't hate Nvidia because you can't have good performance for your dollar. They have great products, and so does AMD.

Just because your particular GPU is bad doesn't mean that they all are, it's your own fault that you're stuck with that 440 if you bought it yourself. GT cards are low end.

Nvidia GPUs are not trash and neither are AMD GPUs. They better eachother depending on the price range of the card. AMD being far superior for the budget builders and Nvidia for the very expensive high end cards. Going for the Kaveri APU is a nice choice but you'll be better off saving a little more and going for a slightly cheaper CPU with a higher end dedicated graphics card combo. Of course that decision is all up to you in the end.

You didn't start an AMD Nvidia war...Were all telling you that Nvidia is awesome AND AMD is awesome. And that you shouldn't hate Nvidia just beacause you don't get good enough performance from the GPU that you bought. AMD and Nvidia both have places. AMD has great budget cards, while Nvidia is more for the higher end (Even though I don't see it that way because AMD has high end cards too)

You're using a Gt 440... it was a low end card since it's release date...
