I7 3770K or a I7 4820K?

Coming from an I5 2300, really need a budget upgrade. The 3770K is really pleasing to me because I don't need to switch the motherboard. but the 4820K is extremely cheap from where I come from, you can get 2 for the price of one 3770K, But the LGA2011 Mobos are pretty scarce and expensive here. Which one would be better for gaming and some light photo/video editing?

What about a 2600K? Also, do you have an overclocking motherboard? If not, don't consider a K SKU CPU, just get a non K variant. The i7 2600 or the i7 3770

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

2600 seems a tad old, also the same price as the 3770.

the 3770 is only one generation newer than the 2600, they would deliver the same experience. Although if it's the same price, no reason not to go third gen. However, are the non K CPUs cheaper at least?
