Okay guys,

You may remember a while back someone (forget his name) started a thread similar to this that was about Linus and Luke (AKA Slick) and continued to over 200 pages or more. It turned into such a ridiculous and funny thread with heaps of people contributing to it, including myself. So, being 2014, thought that I would start a brand new fresh one and see where it goes.

One day Luke decided to set out to build his friend Linus a brand new rig. He didn't want Linus to know about this as he wanted to keep it a surprise to reveal to him at a later time when he had completely finished it. He set out to buy the various components only to realise upon doing so he had forgotten his wallet. And so...

A whole host of computer parts fell into his lap! Luke had to hide them from Linus, so he hid them...

he died abruptly of a sudden heart attack this ending the story.at least there's some closure in that

@helping you should be helping the story. As @cartdog says, it is disappointing. This story could turn out to be the funniest story of 2014 for the LTT forums. :D

this sounds like fun. why is everyone hatin?

because there is this thread  http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/16745-continue-the-story-by-adding-5-wordsplease-vote/ that drives people insane

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

"I don't know, I thought I put waffles in there." Luke said. They had a brief stare down until they realized...

...they should just take the giant stack of pancakes into the Sebastian household and share them around. So that evening they all sat down and ate as many pancakes as they could till there were only two left. With both Luke and Linus starring at them both Luke said "We could have one each.". Linus then said "sure, why not.". And so they both sat down at the last two pancakes. But then Luke remembered the pile of PC components that had fallen into his lap earlier. He went to get up when Linus asked "What are you doing?" Luke answered "Okay I might as well tell you now. I was going to build you a new rig." Linus interrupted Luke mid sentence and said "Thanks mate but I already have a PC rig that I put together myself that I shared the process of on my Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel." Luke then replied "Oh! I had forgotten about that." He then proceeded to ask "Then what do I do with all those PC components?". Which Linus answered "Just sell 'em on eBay". Luke then replied "Hmm...okay, probably a good idea". That night Luke put up all the PC components that had fallen into his lap earlier on eBay and managed to sell all the components for a good $4,455.44. Luke then asked Linus "What shall I do with this almost four and a half grand? In which Linus replied "Just save and keep it for our next build "yeah! Good idea" said Luke. Later that evening both Linus and Luke headed to their beds and they all lived happily ever after.

The End

Okay this was a long addition to the story but it seemed as though not many people wanted to participate after doing a similar thing in the thread link posted above, so I decided to just finish up the story and end it. It may not be the best ending but nevertheless I have ended it for the good of these forums. This probably wasn't such a good idea to start but I thought people may have enjoyed doing it again but obviously this wasn't the case. Hopefully no one will make a similar thread because not many people seem to like them because there's seems to be an attitude of "been there, done that" and so that is why I've chosen to end it. I hope you all like the ending because there it is.

Cheers,

Geekazoid
