Need SFF travelworthy case for existing parts

macintoshme

The SFF bug bit me and I built out an ML08B-H, the nice part of which other than the handle is it takes an almost full size GPU. I figured that I could take it back home over the winter with me in my luggage. However, I didn't trust it to go in my checked luggage and I realized it is wider than the allowed carry-on size.

I put the thing up on CL hoping someone would buy it as I spent a bit of time customizing it and rather just start fresh, but odds of someone wanting it are slim in this area. So, now I am searching for a case for: ITX, SFX-L, small full length gpu, 75mm cooler height, though I would be amenable to have to go buy a CLC.

I happen to have a SG13 sitting here for another purpose and realized my GPU fit in it. It is practically backpack-able, but I was wondering if other might offer their recommendations especially those who travel with their PC.

As one does

I usually recommend this case for portable builds as it fits very neatly into backpacks and suitcases without compromising too much on part size

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

https://www.velkase.com/products/velka-5 is probably as small as it gets with a full size GPU if you're OK to replace the cooler and aren't too bothered by the awkward IO/power cable placement.
