Your CPU isn't good for 144hz gaming, you'd want to upgrade it as soon as possible.

But if you play a ton of CS:GO you might hit above 100fps.

You'd want an RX 5700 in any event, it's likely a better value, same performance as the 2060 super, but you can flash the bios and get another +5-10% out of it.

What's your current GPU?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

And 2060 can't do RTX at 144hz so no use from that

Yeah I'm not trying to do games with RTX technology, but found they were cheaper. I already have a decent GPU a gtx 960 in the beginning like 2 years ago I had 200-300 fps with cs go, now It feels laggy. So I need a new CPU aswell? Thats gonna be pricey.

So why the RX over the RTX ?

Btw I'm looking to play on 240hz as the monitor I described is a 240hz monitor, so I need above 240+ fps
