Honestly, while I can see myself building a Hackingtosh out of an old G5 like LTT is doing right now

One day, I will build a Hackintosh in a G5.

Just for kicks, I'd love to attempt building a 2019 Mac Pro into a G5 as well.

How similar is this? Even if it’s a different size, if the aesthetic is largely identical and if the dimensions are proportionally the same? This may well be infringement of copyright.

Hopefully they were smart enough to change enough key details to make it “similar yet legally distinct”.

Because if it’s not distinct enough, you can be damn sure that Apple will sue them (rightfully don’t) into oblivion.

DIMENSION

8.58 in x 17.7 in x 20.8 in
218 mm x 450 mm x 529 mm

Nothing special on the inside, in fact the bottom 4" of the chassis are just a spacer in that image.

Where as that AR image above is nothing alike.

Those large holes with the vents behind then just gimme tryphophobia.

Don't worry, this case comes with a standard cheese grater front panel stock, the swiss cheese one is an option or something.

I actually like that look a lot. More cases should have that minimalistic look with a perforated front panel. like every nzxt case would look better with it imho....

Yeah, I had a cheese grater PowerMac G5 and the first gen cheese grater Mac Pro, they were gorgeous cases. A friend has them now.

ordered one of these for my first pc build - seems that it could be highly useable as I upgrade and rebuild in future.
