Upgrading pc help me decide r5 3600 or r5 2600?

zulQUET

Im planning on upgrading my pc and saw some good looking bundles at my local store (cpu, motherboard and ram) and need help deciding which one i should go for.

bundle #1 (410€)

r5 3600, asus b450-prime, 16gb(2x8) ddr4 3200mhz

bundle #2 (330€ - 35€ asus cashback = 295€)

r5 2600, asus b450-prime, 16gb(2x8) ddr4 3200mhz

i currently have an i5-4460, asus gtx 970 and 8gb (1x8) 1333mhz ram and mainly play csgo and forza horizon 4.

I posted this earlier and got recomended to get the 3600 bundle, but is it really worth paying 115€ more for that over the 2600 bundle?

The 2600 isn't much of an upgrade. You might as well go with the 3600 if you're switching platforms.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

I would go with the 3600. Has much butter SCP than it’s predecessor 2600.  Also much better if any upgrade compared to what u have now
