my screen is tearing when I watching video

Hi everyone

I have problem with my monitor

LG Electronics 27UK850-W

it is tearing when I watching some video for example

my gpu is rtx2080ti

cpu 5930k

ram 16 kingston

please tell me what is the wrong with this??

Just watched a Youtube video that says:

 

Open NVIDIA control panel

Go to manage 3D settings

Go to program settings

Select Google Chrome (or whatever browser you're using)

Scroll down to Vertical Sync and turn it on

 

I haven't got this issue so IDK if it works but worth a go

oh ic...

It really doesn't look like hardware failing, so it should be software...

For software I would ask is it happening in all video or certain video? if it is what's the refresh rate of video and your monitor?

You can get ur refresh rate info in nvidia control panel
