I currently have an i5 8400 and a vega 56. I really want to try out borderlands 3 but I hear it's pretty hard to run and poorly optimized. I have already wasted money before on games I couldn't run like metro exodus and ac oddyssey and I want to avoid doing that again. Does anyone know if I will be able to run it.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

What settings?

I think mostly medium, with a few on high and draw distance and streaming textures on ultra. I get 50-60FPS constant, but it looks butter smooth on my freesync display. I would have a VERY hard time telling the difference between medium and ultra detail in this game for the most part.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂
