Okay so basically I have to ship my pc, because it's not working correctly in games and it has to be checked out. But how can I ship a fully assembled pc without having to remove the cpu cooler or graphics card?

Pc specs (if needed)

Cpu: Amd Ryzen 5 2600 (with the stock air cooler)
Gpu: Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 8gb
Power supply: EVGA 500W white
Motherboard: Asus prime B450M-A
Ram: Corsair vengeance 16gb (2 x 8 gb) ddr4 3000mhz
SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB
Case: Sharkoon VG5-W (Blue)

IMO, if you're responsible for shipping damage, you can't. That box is going to be flipped upside down, right side up, on its side, face-down, face-up. It's going to be dropped, it's going to slide down ramps and onto conveyor belt lines, it's going to be abused. The stock cooler on the 2600 is the Wraith Spire IIRC, which is fairly lightweight and mounts securely to the board, so I think you'd be fine that. That GPU though...AORUS cards are not known for being lightweight, and if that gets jostled hard enough, RIP your card and RIP your PCIe slot.

If you want to chance it, stuff the inside of the case with foam inserts, carefully pack it with the original foam in the original box, seal it up tight and pray. If you want to do it right, ship the GPU separately.

If you're shipping it back to the OEM, ask them how to do it and do exactly as they say.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

For shipping a computer I would recommend either removing the GPU and shipping it separated as it will rattle inside the case. Another way is to get foam inserts for the case and fill in the free space in the chassis with foam. There are places that will custom cut if you give them dimensions. There are also those filling inserts that inflate and harden. I do not remember what they are called but a few boutique builders use them.

cpu cooler depends, if it's not too heavy it should be ok (AIO is fine, stock is fine)
You need to remove the gpu.

HAving worked in the shipping industry you should EXPECT your thing to be kicked around and thrown.

Original box = as much packing material as possible.
I'd fill the inside too, A pillow works great in that regard. but to a OEM, try and find those inflatable packing bags

Ship it the same way prebuilts ship.  Expanding foam packaging is seen in a lot of them.

Where are you sending it?  Did you ask them?  Since they'll be sending it back, they must know how to ship them?

I can't help but think you'd be better off taking it to someone local to figure out why it's not working the way you'd like. Or getting help on the forums. I don't imagine there's anything the manufacturer is going to do that you can't do yourself, unless you're getting a component replaced.

As for shipping, grab an Instapak or two to secure the graphics card if you don't feel comfortable removing it. Or, remove it, place it in a box or antistatic bag, and ship it with the PC. Just make sure you put a note on top (either on the box or inside) stating what you've done.

I wouldn't ship it separately. That's unnecessary, and will likely cause more problems than anything. It just needs to be securely placed in the same box.

I was going back and forth on that, and ultimately assumed that it would be shipping in the original box. If it does that, there's probably not enough room for a GPU. If it's in a different, bigger box, maybe there is.

Yeah, I just think shipping it separately is a huge mistake. So many ways things could go wrong, not just lost packages, but the fact that when it shows up to the RMA center, it has to be partnered back with the PC. If it's a company that's quite large, or even medium sized, that's quite a task. I think it'd probably get lost or misplaced. I'd just pay the money for a couple Instapaks and call it a day.

I asked them and they said to put it in the original packaging and to fill up the empty spaces inside the box, they didn't say about removing any parts or filling up the pc. I looked for the expanding foam and where I live it's around €200... So that's out of my budget

I built the pc it's not like pre built and the sellers suspect that a component is malfunctioning that's why they asked me to send it

Im sending it back to the buyers and they didn't tell me to remove anything just to put the pc back in orignal packaging (the system is not prebuilt btw) and to fill up empty spaces in the box and then send it off to them they did state that they are not responsible for any damage at the end of the message

Instapacks are like €200 here, so that's like very expensive for me

Yep there is no room for the gpu in that box that's why I don't want to remove it because then I have to get a bigger box, while the sellers said to ship it in the original box

Oh I tried getting help but no one knew... Because my pc is very weird because it DOES not shutdown the entire system while playing GTA V  and Minecraft but it does shutdown with CSGO and Assassins Creed and Thief simulator and no it's not the power supply because they already send a new one and it still does the same so now they suspect that it's the graphics card

Uhhh....a lot of what you're saying makes no sense. You told me that you're the buyer, sending it back to the seller because they assume something's wrong, and then you tell @aisle9 that you're the seller and you're sending it back to the buyer?

You're probably looking at 10 packs of the InstaPak. Look around. You'll find more reasonable pricing. No one would pay 200 Euro for a single pack, it's uneconomical.

Why are you trying to shut down the PC while playing a game? Does it shut down normally when in Windows?

First of all I am the buyer sending it back to the seller and i know that something is wrong, because MY pc shuts down during games. The pc shuts down completely in: CSGO, Thief Simulator, Assasins Creed. However it does not shut itself down in: Minecraft and Gta V. When the pc shut down because of that then I have to flick the switch at the back of the power supply wait for about 10 seconds then turn the psu back on then the system boots again. I thought and the sellers thought that it was the power supply because of this, but the sellers sent a new psu and the problem remained. So now the sellers suspect that it's the graphics card, but just to be sure they want to look at the entire pc as a whole.

It's not overheating, because:

Cpu temp at max: 80 degrees celcius

Gpu temp at max: 80 degrees celcius

Out of curiosity:

  • What make/model of PSU do you have? That really, really sounds like a PSU issue to me, and if they're sending you turds it would answer some questions. For example: a 650W Corsair RM650i will pump out 650W. A 650W Arson Box will pump out maybe 480W before it's pushed to its limit and crashes hard.
  • Have you double-checked the PSU connections to make sure they're all in and snug?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Sounds like a faulty PSU.  You should be able to just send it back to them.

What is the make/model/wattage of the PSU?

It's an EVGA 500W 80 plus certified white PSU

on the sticker it says it has a maximum output of 500W

And I have already returned my one psu which was the same one as i have right now because I thought the same so they sent a new psu the same type and everything to me and it still does shutdown during those games

Ford made the Pinto and the GT....

EVGA makes shitty and good stuff.  I'd trust jonnyGURU over EVGA any day.
