FPS problem really need some help because I am beyond confused

I recently built a new pc and and got the gtx 1050ti and it will not go over 60fps. But my old card the gtx 750ti would, so to test I switched them out and my 750ti was no capping at 60fps. anyone know what could cause this. 

AMD RYZEN 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz 

ASRock b450 pro 4 mobo

what exactly am I looking for once I get there and under what tab. Sorry for the  questions it just says use the 3d application settings

go to the 3d application settings and under the default tab find the vsync option and set it to off. make sure its off in your game options too

Thank you so much this worked like a charm went from 60 to over 250
