Advice and Help Required! MSI GS65 8SE

hey guys, i have a MSI gs65 8SE, the 2019 RTX 2060 model,

When i first bought it have been having this issue but when on battery power it keeps crashing/lagging very hard, also the battery life sometimes isnt that good ~4 hours, only when the GPU indicator is suck on the dGPU

Should i just RMA it? i have reset it so many times, only have league and Apex installed as this is just my spare laptop and have a gaming desktop, i finally cracked it when it crashed on me when i was at university, super sick of this laptop.

ive installed every update possible, (havnt tried bios yet, but i doubt it as no one else seems to have this issue).

- it would only crash on battery power, word document/ 2 chrome tabs 

- error code would vary sometimes, usually tdr_video_failure

 

Would love suggestions and tips,

Firstly I would try to remove the graphics drivers with DDU, then install the newest driver from nvidia.

Then run furmark to make sure it can handle it.

If it can't, RMA it.
