Onboard sound Z370 Gaming 7

Ive asked this before but I got no response, basically I have a Z370 Gaming 7 which apparently has a built in AMP or DAC on the mobo itself, I have a pair of Arctis steel series pro headset which uses a USB connection but can be converted to analog, basically Id like to know how can I use the motherboards superior sound quality, should I use the audio Jack or will the USB be better or does it not matter as the sound quality will be the same no matter what port I use.

USB headsets have their own built in soundcard/DAC. If you want to take advantage of the on board sound you will need to use 3.5mm.

Mine doesn't have a DAC/Amp I got the one without that x-x. But I have a converter for 3.5mm I guess I'll pug it in there and test it.
