Need a laptop that can run rust and minecraft shaders well and is also thin and portable.

You don't really want a thin gaming laptop, otherwise you might have cooling issues, and the battery life is never going to be the best with a dedicated GPU.


Not sure on the quality of this unit or how it's price compares, but just look for machines that have an i5 8300h or i5 9300h and a 1050ti or 1650, going past that is potentially a lot more expensive, for not too big of a performance gain because of the form factor limitations.
