Can you suggest with what ssd i can replace my m.2

Sorry for short message, i have broken righr arm. 

I do  not wanna fail with ssd upgrade in my lap top like i did in my pc. 

i have https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-ZenBook-UX510UW/specifications/   

128gb versiuon with i7

Can i place 970evo pro and to get max performance from it?

CPU - AMD 5800X , Motherboard - ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING , Memory  - G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 ,

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti MSI SUPRIM X 12G,  Case - 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid - Tower ATX Case - Black ,

Storage - Samsung 970 EvoPlus 500GB - Samsung 870 EVO 1TB + 6TB HDD,

PSU - Corsair HX1000 , Display -  ASUS TUF Gaming VG27A 165HZ + Dell 24 UltraSharp Monitor , Cooling - Noctua NH-D15 Black , 

Keyboard - Razer Stalker , Mouse - Logitec G502 Wireless , Operating System - Win 10 Pro ,

depends, if you only do gaming, then "max performance" means nothing with a high end NVMe SSD and saving money on a less expensive model is a better buy. What's the use case?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

just work. coding.

browsing. movies - i need to upgrade to have at least 250 gb. i do have slot for 2.5 ssd, but i prefer  only 1 drive

Doesn't sound like you need a 970 Evo, a 660p would be better suited.

There are 2 types of m.2 drives. NVME and sata ones. The sata drives have the same limitations as 2,5 inch drives: they can only reach speeds of around 550mb/s. The port is also slightly different. The m.2 sata onces won't fit in a m.2 NVME port. Your laptop only has a m.2 sata port

just because it comes with only SATA SSDs doesnt mean it's not NVMe compatible. Cant find manual on UX510 to prove this but the UX501 supports NVMe.
