How much money do you have in your gaming PC?

Real_PhillBert

I know this can be tough with different monetary units across the world, and some regions have different pricing, but I am curious how much everyone has invested in their gaming PC. Do not include any peripherals or monitors, basically only what is in your tower or laptop.

Personally I am in about $1250 or so over the last 3 years, but am in serious need of an upgrade.

Probably close to 1400. Bought my first desktop on Dec 2009.

  • It was some prebuilt acer quad core desktop for $750.
  • Added a $40 soundcard to replace the terrible onboard audio a couple months after.
  • Replaced the GT220 with an HD6850 for $200 in Dec 2010.
  • Then finally replaced it with an Asus GTX660Ti in March 2013 for $260.
  • The built in 450W didn't have enough amps on the 12V rail so I replaced it with a TX850 V2 for $89.
  • Replaced the fugly Acer case with a Bitfenix Shinobi White windowed case for $79 on Dec 2013. Best investment ever :D

I recently bought an FX-8320 for 110 + 8gb RAM for 70. Just need a 990FX mobo to go on sale then I'll have a completed new build :D

I don't keep any money in my PC, I keep it in the bank. :P

But really, 2.5K maybe 3k. I bought the 780s before they dropped in price.

you do cos there are a lot of people who buy all the latest gpu's like 780ti and titans. once you've bought 2 of those and the rest of the rig they will be way over 2500 if they water cool they are going $4k

4k for tower not including H2O stuffs, another 1k locked up there I figure.

I adjusted the pole to allow for a higher ceiling. Feel free to change your vote if this effected you at all.
