RTX Super or OC original RTX

Poseidon025

I'm considering upgrading from a 1060 to a 2080. However I'm unclear as to which 2080 I should get. I have this great looking white Overclock-able 2080 from gigabyte that I've been looking at for a while.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming OC White 8G Graphics Card, 3X Windforce Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N2080GAMINGOC WHITE-8GC Video Card.

However the emergence of the 2080 super is making me wonder is a super card would be better. Unfortunately non of them appear to come in white, and I really want a white one for my next build.

It appears as though the new super cards cost more or about the same as the OC card I want. So I'm a little conflicted as to which would be the better buy.

If it is the same price as the OC version, I would go for the Super.   The only thing is do you wait for a "white" version to come out
