I am looking to build a new system but keep my hard drive ssd and gpu any recommendations for the best that i can do for around 5 to 600 bucks

my gpu is an asus geforce gtx 1050 ti 

could it be as future proof as possible so that i wouldn't have to upgrade parts for a while

I would be looking to game on medium to high settings with good frames and do some moderate video editing

it would also be great if it had 16 gb of ram

Ryzen 3600 build and save much money as well.  B450 mobo and 3600 cpu and 80 bucks for ram lol

which one of these motherboards would you guys recommend with the ryzen 5 3600 or would you recommend going to a 3600x

Either MSI board would do fine. MAX versions preferred.

 

If possible, I'd get a RX 570 over the 1050 Ti.

Just get the one with the biggest VRM heatsink for a reasonable price.

The build doesn't need 600W, a 450W psu like the CX450M would be fine.

 

You will have to check that the motherboard ships with a BIOS that supports the 3600X cpu. (It likely will unless the merchant is moving older stock, but one still has to check.) You might consider a B450 MSI motherboard that has the BIOS Flashback feature (allows BIOS update without CPU) or the B450 Tomahawk MAX that ships with a compatible BIOS.

 

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 CL 16 is usually available for around the same price and offers better performance.
