What hardware do you already have to use in the new PC?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Is your RAM DDR3 or DDR4?

PCPartPicker Part List: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/nggkvn

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($178.00 @ Shopping Express)
Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($138.00 @ I-Tech)
Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 570 8 GB Video Card  ($243.57 @ Amazon Australia)
Power Supply: Cooler Master MasterWatt 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply  ($92.00 @ Shopping Express)
Total: $651.57

Ryzen is the best valuefor CPUs for now.

Maybe look for a used RX 470/480/570/580 long as it has 2 fans it should be fine, 8GBs is naturally nicer to have. They're only 15-10% behind the 1660 for a decently lower price.

(Australia) Need help buying a new psu, cpu and motherboard

The ram I have is HyperX Fury DDR4-2133

I was looking at the I5-9400f it is great value  Could my ram work with it? And do I have to buy a older motherboard or do newer ones still work with my ram

Spending 400-600 aud on psu motherboard and cpu

Plus a seperate 200-350aud for a GPU

I appreciate all build suggestions. Thanks

The 9400F is poor value. The Ryzen 5 3600 absolutely annihilates it in everything. Grab a 3600, an ASRock B450 Pro4, aN Arctic Freezer eSports 34, a Corsair RMx 550W or Be Quiet Straight Power 11 Gold 500W and you're set

If you have the budget, go for the 3600 ... if not, you can save around 50$ by going with 2600 which is still decent enough.
