Having issues getting used to a bigger screen. Switching from 23 to 27 inches.

BrokeAFKid

So I've recently aquired a PB278Q (27 inch) and I've replaced my broken 23 inch Monitor. I've only had the monitor for two days now but I'm having trouble adusting to it with any kind of full screen content. Especially for watching movies with subtitles it's hard to see the whole image and read the subs at the same time (Something that wasn't difficult on my 23 inch) Is this a typcial experience? Do you adjust to the bigger screen after a while, if so how long can I expect this to roughly take? I've used the 23 inch monitor for like 6 years so I suppose it's just gonna take some time to adjust... Has anybody else here had a similar issue?

I went from a 23" to a 27" a couple of years ago and it took me a couple of weeks before I stopped feeling like it was huge. I can't say how long it's gonna take you though, since I'm sure that varies person to person.

I suppose I might be but I'm already setting pretty far away (28 inches from my eyes to the monitor), I just tried sitting 3 feet away from the Display and it does make it easier but not that much and at that point I can't really reach my keyboard anymore. ?

Then it's probably just a matter of getting used to it. When I got my ultrawide I had a similar issue, but you'll adjust.

Good to know that this isn't unique to me because I'm really happy with the monitor outside of that. (Especially since it was cheap and has essentially no backlight bleeding) I hope I adjust to it sooner rather than later. ?
