Keyboard + Mouse Suggestions For Arthritis

Meralux

Hi there! I'm looking for suggestions to replace my current keyboard/mouse. I'm currently using a Razer Abyssus and Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth. I've developed some pretty bad arthritis over the years and I find the keys on my keyboard to feel pretty stiff, and they have a very far travel so for extended gameplay or for raiding in FFXIV for example they start to hurt after a few hours, especially on the pinky for shift/ctrl/alt. My friend moved over to cherry mx browns and said he felt a lot of relief but i'm open to anything that might help. I'd like it to have RGB and at least 5 macro buttons on the side like my current one does, those are a lifesaver. For my mouse if I use it for too long my thumb starts to twitch a lot, I think the way I hold my current one puts too much of the moving on the thumb for stability and I'm really not sure what I should be looking for to fix that. Any and all help is super appreciated! Here's a pic of how I hold my current mouse.

What's your budget? I have a similar condition to arthritis, so I might be able to help.

Probably about $120 max for each, I know ergonomic stuff can get super expensive lol but I think my main problem is just the wrong type of switches/mouse style.

For the keyboard : drop macros from requirements or up the budget. For the mouse, the best mice for me at least were these : https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/rival-310

still using it, because of the comfort it gives me, then there's this: https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gaming-mice/g305-lightspeed-wireless-gaming-mouse.html#910-005280 changed the battery so it would be lighter. I loved this also, very comfy : https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Mice/MOBA-Strategy-%26-Action-Mice/HARPOON-RGB-Gaming-Mouse/p/CH-9301011-NA

and this one is very very comfy for me, but it's non really for gaming : https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-anywhere-2s-flow

Oh, this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-920-008017-G910-Spectrum-Mechanical/dp/B01G5Y27VY/ref=pd_sbs_107_10?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01G5Y27VY&pd_rd_r=a058756c-4c40-4e33-a133-b6944d0e3b78&pd_rd_w=5s0KL&pd_rd_wg=rI7a0&pf_rd_p=2b420a2f-6593-478e-8b5f-cb43865ff16f&pf_rd_r=A4NCBC27AE7BWN47G35Y&psc=1&refRID=A4NCBC27AE7BWN47G35Y is on sale, but I hate romer g, you must try it before buying or buy from store with good return policy.

I've seen the G305 mentioned on the channel many times, I'm worried the side buttons would get in the way though since I have fairly big hands. It's really hard to tell from the pictures how tall it is and where my thumb would rest on it. Do you think with my current grip that it would be a problem for any of those? Also I think $120 for a macro keyboard is fair, dosen't have to be brand new or a 2018/2019 model, I'm perfectly happy with something older as long as it works.

My grip is pretty much like yours, so you would be fine with these mice imo. Also, I edited my post :

Amazon return policy is super good here especially with prime. I'd probably buy like 5 different things and send back the ones I don't want to keep. I'll definitely consider trying some of these, thanks for the suggestions!
