Using AMD Relive - automatically makes 8 audio channels

VG Docs

When I record with ReLive the clip always has 8 audio channels. It makes the footage completely unusable as the audio is heavily distorted and I can't edit in in Vegas Pro to make it useable.image.png.015cf27f85caf4bdfadc97f0ee830c06.png

AMD ReLive is incredibly broken right now.. dont use it to record... go get yourself OBS Studio and use that to record with instead.

over a year later and this thing is still broken. I can confirm it is still happening with my 6900 XT. Not only that but it also makes the audio recorded uneditable

did you at any point update drivers, or DDU?

Are you on latest drivers?

Edit: also 4000kbps? that must look absolutely awful? mine looked kinda ok with 18000...

And 11kbps for the sound seems also weird. Unless I'm missing something, it's late here lol.

All good for me too. I'm on the latest recommended version with a 5700XT. Are your Audio drivers up to date? 8 channels would suggest 7.1 profile is being recorded. What audio software are you using?
Seems unfair to flat out bame Radeon software without fully investigating...

Yeap, I don't have the software installed so I can't check but there gotta be some settings for the sound, like stereo / surround... and bitrates, etc?

A bit late but:

Try changing audio channels from auto to stereo.

Record & Stream > Settings (left side)

Had a similar issue. Amd was recording my surround profile (icue) and the standard video players were not able to play any sound. It showed an error related to audio encoding, but this fixed it for me.

I was having the same problem, and this was the fix. Thank you bro
