Raspberry pi as a steam caching server?

McLoos

Could a raspberry pi be used to run a steam caching server, if hooked up to an external HDD?  If so; would it be possible to have it work on two different networks, with not too much fiddling/resetting up?

Me and my friends have bandwidth problems at LAN parties, but we vary where we play from time to time.

You would be better served by just updating your games before the party.
