Screw stuck on gpu

So I wanna change the thermal paste in the gpu but there's this one screw that isnt budging. When I screw it the screwdriver just jumps or something and the screw wont budge. Can anyone help?

put the other three screws back in, tighten them down a bit, then try removing that screw again.

Find a better fitting screw driver, it's almost impossible for screws so small to be that tight.

Seriously though, try making sure that you have the right bit for the screw.

What I found often works better than a phillips head with stuck tiny screws, is an adequately sized flathead screwdriver. With the right size, it should just set in there and you'll be able to rotate all the way. Of course go slow, to avoid stripping the screws.

Also, don't take one out completely at a time, undo all of them kind of one rotation at a time, so you go top-right, bottom-left, top-left, bottom-right, etc. etc. Same for screwing it back together.

 

So basically:

- Get the right bits for the job

- Unscrew evenly.
